I've been in and around SciFi/Fantasy fandom in VA/DC since 1989 and just enjoy the con circuit in general. Like most 'old timers', I pine for the 'good old days' of con life, but its good to see all the new people attending nowadays. I've met some of the most interesting people in my life at the various SciFi/Fantasy conventions that I've attended.
